This World Animal Day, we’re proud to share not just awareness, but a sustainable system of kindness that has become part of our daily routine. At our staff cafeteria and breakfast hall, leftover food is carefully sorted and delivered once a week to local animal shelters. In this way, we help reduce waste while supporting our animal friends.
Why We Do It?
Animal welfare: We provide regular support to help feed shelter animals.
Zero waste: Instead of going to the trash, food is redirected to the right places.
Corporate responsibility: For us, kindness isn’t just a campaign—it’s part of our everyday operations.
How We Sort in the Kitchen?
Bread: Stale but still edible bread is collected in separate bags.
Meat & protein: Packed separately to avoid contamination.
Other practices: Leftovers are sorted wherever possible in both the staff cafeteria and breakfast hall. Food that can’t be consumed is directed to organic waste. Labeling and short storage rules are applied across all areas.
How the System Works?
1. Collection: At the end of the day, food is bagged according to type.
2. Temporary Storage: Kept briefly in a clean, closed space.
3. Quality Check: Team leaders carry out visual and smell checks.
4. Delivery: Once a week, bags are delivered to the local shelter, documented with a receipt.
Final Note
On World Animal Day, we want to emphasize once again: Kindness is most powerful when it becomes routine. And we’re committed to continuing this routine with care and dedication.
